Earn while you learn and build a career in auto glass.
Portland Glass is looking for an Auto Glass Technician-in-Training who is ready to learn a skilled trade, work hands-on, and grow with a company known for quality service across the Northeast. No auto glass experience? No problem. Through our outstanding paid training program, you will work side by side with some of the best technicians in the business and learn the skills needed to succeed. Within 12 weeks, you will be trained and certified to perform auto glass repairs and replacements with confidence.
- Learn how to repair and replace windshields and vehicle glass using proven Portland Glass methods
- Train side by side with experienced Auto Glass Technicians who will coach you through each step of the process
- Build hands-on technical skills while also learning customer service, safety, and technology-based procedures
- Gain exposure to auto glass repair, replacement, calibration, and related industry best practices
- Complete a structured 12-week training path designed to help you become a certified Auto Glass Technician

(What we are looking for)
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Interest in hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service
- Comfort using hand tools, computers, mobile devices, and related technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable state laws
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
