As a Door & Hardware Fabricator on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:
- Fabricating and cutting aluminum stock using drills and other tools
- Accurately reading tape measures, safely cutting steel and using power tools and hand tools
- Attaching hardware as necessary
- Prepping frames and doors for hardware and installation
- Completing jobs within the scheduled time frames
Bring your skills and achieve success.
(Required qualifications)
- 5 years of fabrication experience
- Proficient use of hand tools to complete fabrication and assembly
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Willingness to perform work in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with interruptions
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable state laws
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
