Bring your experience and make a difference.

As an Estimator on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Reviewing and evaluating cost estimates
  • Performing take-offs in detail for all products
  • Develop proposal/scope of work to bid
  • Manage bid pricing from all vendors
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience: 5 + years estimating experience specifically in the glass industry
  • Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to read, comprehend, interpret and translate blueprints, high computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 25 pounds
